Suede

Suede is a type of leather made by sanding the inner split layer of a hide during the leather processing stage to create a soft, velvety texture. Its surface is characterized by a fine nap, giving it a luxurious appearance and a warm, soft feel. Suede has a natural matte finish and can be dyed in a wide variety of colors. However, compared to standard leather, it is generally more susceptible to stains, dirt, and moisture.
