Split Leather

Split leather is made from the lower layers of a hide that are separated from the top grain during the leather-splitting process. Through various surface treatments and finishes, it can be used as an upholstery material for furniture. Split leather is generally a more economical option than full grain or top grain leather. While it offers an attractive appearance at a lower cost, its durability is typically lower compared to higher-quality leather grades.
