Aniline Leather

Aniline leather is a premium genuine leather dyed with transparent aniline dyes, allowing the natural texture, grain, and markings of the hide to remain visible. It is finished with little surface coating, or only a very light protective layer, preserving the leather’s authentic appearance, color variations, and natural feel. This type of leather is valued for its rich, natural character, exceptional softness, and excellent breathability. Because the surface remains largely untreated, each hide retains its unique grain patterns and natural markings. Over time, aniline leather develops a distinctive patina and natural aging characteristics that enhance its beauty. However, due to the minimal protective coating, aniline leather is more susceptible to stains, fading, and scratches than other leather types, requiring careful maintenance and protection.
