Vinyl Wallcovering

Vinyl wallcovering is a high-durability wall finishing material in which a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) surface layer is applied to enhance stain resistance, water resistance, and flame resistance. It is widely used in commercial interiors such as hotels, hospitals, offices, and various public and commercial facilities. It is typically manufactured as a multi-layer structure consisting of a surface coating layer, a printed design layer, a foamed or solid PVC layer, and a backing layer. Backing materials include paper, nonwoven fabric, polyester-blended textiles, and scrim (reinforced fabric), with scrim commonly used in commercial-grade products for its superior strength. In the manufacturing process, a PVC compound mixed with plasticizers, stabilizers, pigments, and flame retardants is coated onto the backing or formed into sheets through a calendering process. Designs are then applied using gravure, digital, or screen printing methods, followed by surface protection treatment to complete the product.
