Dimout

Dimout fabrics are functional textiles that allow a controlled amount of light to pass through, unlike blackout fabrics, which are designed to block light completely. They help create a comfortable indoor environment by softly filtering natural daylight during the day while reducing the intrusion of external light at night. The level of light transmission varies depending on the fabric construction and weave structure. Typically, dimout fabrics provide approximately 70–90% light reduction, offering an effective balance between light control, privacy, and a pleasant interior ambiance. They are widely used in residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors where partial light filtration is preferred over complete darkness.
